G&H's model 102 Connector is a fiber optic staging connector used for a laser ordnance firing system for a strategic missile program. This fiber-optic connector system has been designed to mate with angular and lateral misalignments. The scoop-proof feature of this connector prevents inadvertent damage to the fiber-optic termini during mating. G&H's patented anti-bind rolloff feature prevents shell binding caused by side loads during separation. Under dynamic vibration and shock conditions, the Model 1052 Connecotr has shown a maximum attenuation of 1 dB. Presently, the Model 1052 Connector has completed compliance testing for the small ICBM Program.
