1004 Connector
G&H's Model 1004 Raceway Connector is a compartmentalized,
separable, mechanically uncoupled
interstage connector. This mated interstage connector provides
all electrical connection between stages 1/2 and 2/3 of
the Peacekeeper Missile during preflight, launch and flight
operation. It conducts signals between the missile guidance
and control system and the flight control, ordnance and
instrumentation equipment. The hardware consists of a main
plug connector, a main receptacle connector and two separable
auxiliary connectors (one per connector half). The connector
contains three separate, individually isolated, electrical
compartments containing the flight, ordnance and instrumentation
contact groups.
