SPACE USE:

These lightweight connectors meet all of the physical and electrical requirements of Mil-C-38999 Series IV using space-rated materials as well as special weight-saving techniques.

They are superior products suitable for a wide variety of space applications. G&H Series IV connectors are rugged easy-to-use coupling mechanisms that can be mated and unmated through IVA, EVA, and robot manipulation. They  have been used on the Space Shuttle and numerous satellites and payloads.

The Breech-LokŪ mechanism uses internal drive threads to provide maximum mechanical advantage. It locks firmly into place and will not back off or be loosened by shock or vibration. Astronauts find them extremely easy to align and mate. Plugs are available with wing nuts for added leverage.

The connectors feature complete environmental sealing. All elastomeric materials are space-compatible and outgassing is minimized.
